My Story
With over 19 years of experience in bow making, I am the artisan behind Devonshire Longbows, specialising in handcrafting longbows using time-honoured techniques and natural materials. Each bow is shaped by hand using carefully selected materials.
My expertise extends to multi-wood laminates and recurve designs. I am increasingly taking on commissions for customers looking for a truly individual bow, and I am always happy to discuss bespoke commissions and bring a customer's ideas to life, be they inspired from real life, fantasy worlds and settings, or a melding of both.
Beyond bow making, I craft high-quality leather archery accessories, including hip and back quivers, arm bracers, and calico longbow bags. I run live demonstrations and bow making courses in partnership with the National Trust and the Cornwall Heritage Trust, as well as demonstrating my craft at events across the UK.
